The Catalog of U.S. Government Publications (CGP) is the finding tool for electronic and print publications from the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the U.S. government. The CGP contains descriptive records for historical and current publications and provides direct links to those that are available online. More than 500,000 records generated since July 1976 are contained in the CGP and it is updated daily. The catalog will grow to include records for publications dating back to the late 1800s, making the CGP the central point for locating new and historical Government publications. Military & Government Collection offers current news pertinent to all branches of the military and government through full-text coverage of over 300 journals. In addition it contains 200+ full text pamphlets and indexing with abstracts for an additional 500 journals. User guide/tutorial

Produced by the Government Publishing Office, govinfo has official, authenticated, digitized documents from Congress, the President, and a few other Federal agencies. It includes the United States Government Manual, bills, Statutes, congressional committee materials, the Congressional Record, the Compilation of Presidential Documents, the Federal Register, the Code of Federal Regulations, and opinions from more than 100 U.S. courts.

The National Technical Information Service maintains and disseminates a large collection of scientific, technical, engineering, and business-related information produced for and by U.S. government agencies. The NTIS database contains the records of millions of publications along with audiovisual materials, computer data files, and software. Nearly 1,000 new items are added weekly, many only available through NTIS. All records include an abstract, and many of the publications are freely available in PDF format.
