Britannica Academic is a combination of the Encyclopedia Britannica and Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, magazines and periodicals, and many other research tools. It includes news feeds from the New York Times and the BBC; editor-selected Web sites; an interactive world atlas; famous quotations; updated versions of the World Data Analyst; articles from the Britannica Book of the Year; and thousands of photographs, videos, tables, graphs, and illustrations. This database is available through NOVELNY. Provided by the New York State Library, NOVELny is a Statewide Internet Library connecting New Yorkers to 21st century information. NOVELNY is supported with temporary federal Library Services and Technology Act funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
